The EVA movie comes to us TONIGHT at 7pm, very exciting yes? I did the test screening today and it’s all in working order, one thing you might want to know though is there are no trailers so it really actually goes on screen at 7pm.

We’ve got a bunch of prizes to give away; a few EVA wallscrolls, a couple figures, the first volume of the manga, the entire TV series, and a pass to animinitime 2010! Make sure you come early the fun starts no later then 6:40pm. If you love the movie and want to see it again (or can’t make it out tonight) remember it’s playing once more Saturday at 10am.

On Thursday, Sept. 24th cartoonist Faith Erin Hicks will be at Strange adventures from 5 to 6pm to sign copies of her books, Zombies Calling and The War at Ellsmere.

On Friday, Sept. 25th, cartoonist Darwyn Cooke will be at Strange Adventures from 5 to 6pm to sign copies of Parker:The Hunter, the adaptation of the novel by Richard Stark, as well as copies of New Frontier, the Spirit, Batman Ego and more!

Description: Due to overwhelming response from you lovely people (26 oh god please yes\’s and rising! ) the EVA party is 100% go! We\’re having a get together at the theatre from 7pm till 9:30 pm the Sunday before the movie comes out.

There will be a costume contest with bonus points going to anyone in EVA costumes, Anime Trivia (with some questions being about EVA) and Video games which will probably have nothing to do with EVA but will still be awesome.

We may also have the return of DJ Yvette, or at the very least DJ Yvette\’s extensive J-Music collection lol.
