Celebrate with an afternoon of costume play (Cosplay) inspired by your favourite Anime and Manga characters, and settle in for a screening of Hayao Miyazaki’s Oscar-winning Spirited Away (PG) . You’re invited to the party, so make your costume as simple or elaborate as you want. It’s OK if you don’t have one, just come anyway! You can even enjoy some Japanese snacks that your favourite characters might munch! The winners of our Teen Anime & Manga Art Contest will also be announced. For more information call 490-5745.

Title: November Meeting

Description: I will be showing two episodes of each of these series, with a short break in the middle for sanity.I’ve booked the room for 5 so anyone who wants to show up early can, but since the majority of people can’t seam to arrive before 5:30 the Anime wont start until then.

Tickets are on sale now, both online and on location so if you want them right now mosey on over to the theatre and pick some up or click the link below. The showing is going to be at 7pm, if you want to enter the costume contest (or just win some random prizes) then be in your seat at least a half hour early. The movie must start on time! It cannot be stopped so don’t be late!

All Group members are invited to the Dragon King Buffet across the street from 4:45-6:15, we’re gonna take over that little place and have ourselves some Chinese food before we go to the movie! Cost is about $15, but if you’re the kinda kid who gets very thirsty I would recommend $20.
